Protecting honest elections & promoting voter participation

It should be easy to vote and hard to cheat. Election processes ought to be reliable and transparent, with checks and balances that help all voters to trust the results. These goals do not advantage any party—rather they serve all voters and provide for the long-term health of the democratic institutions essential to our republic.

Save Our States was created in 2009 to defend the Electoral College. In 2023 we helped launch the Stop Ranked-Choice Voting Coalition. We also advocate for consolidating election days, which is the simplest way to increase voter participation.
